1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using the FXLcreator plugin for GIMP (the “Plugin”), provided by EpubSystems, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Plugin.

2. Service Description

FXLcreator is a tool designed for graphic designers within the publishing industry to generate interactive web-based content and digital book components.

• Free Tier: Users have access to basic export capabilities and limited interactive features.

• Paid Tier: Subscribers gain access to extended professional features, advanced interactivity, and premium export options.

3. User Accounts & Authentication

To use FXLcreator, you must sign in using your Google Account. Authentication and authorization are handled securely through the Firebase system. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. User-Generated Content & Liability

• Ownership: You retain 100% ownership of any content (images, text, layouts, and code) generated or processed through the Plugin.

• No Responsibility: EpubSystems assumes no responsibility, claim, or liability for the content created by users. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content complies with copyright laws and publishing standards.

• Indemnification: You agree to hold EpubSystems harmless from any legal claims arising from the content you produce or distribute using FXLcreator.

5. Fees and Subscriptions

Paid features are billed on a subscription basis. All payments are handled by our third-party payment processor. EpubSystems reserves the right to modify subscription tiers with 30 days’ notice to users.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Plugin is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. EpubSystems does not guarantee that the generated web pages will be compatible with all third-party e-reader platforms or future browser updates.
